Increased output in glass production through boosting systems

Glass of the highest quality. We create the best possible prerequisites for this with our electric heating systems, also known as a boosting system, for the melting furnaces used in the glass industry. In close coordination with our customers, we develop solutions that accommodate all demands in terms of safe working processes, high plant availability and output.

We have been determining the optimum electrode position in the molten glass using physical and mathematical models for more than 30 years now. We ensure the best possible temperature in addition to the desired convection, thereby guaranteeing glass of outstanding homogeneity. Furthermore, we increase the output of the existing plants by up to 50 percent, without modifying the furnace or the conventional heating system. This increased efficiency can be flexibly governed by activating and deactivating of the boosting system.

We take charge of programming the software and complete design in addition to construction of the plants and systems extending to assembly on site on your premises.

Werner BockAs a medium-sized, owner-managed company and a genuine family business under the leadership of Graduate Engineer Werner Bock, we are specialised in development of new customer-oriented applications over a wide field of activity.

At the same time, our origins lie in the glass industry: founded in 1984 by Werner Bock with extensive experience in well-known companies, our aim has always been to further develop and adapt electric heating systems to the modern requirements of the melting and processing technology.

Today, our electric boosting for melting furnaces produced within our company guarantee efficiency and production safety in glass production. They increase the output of melting furnaces by up to 50 percent. At the same time, this output remains flexibly available. Furthermore, they ensure improved glass quality – also owing to our extensive model trials at the beginning of each assignment.
