A research network for industrial quality insurance

Automatic image processing and machine vision are basic activities of the Vision institutes within the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft.

The main goal of the Fraunhofer Vision Alliance is the development of new or improved devices for industrial inspection. Video cameras, infrared cameras as well as x-ray cameras are used for imaging. Turn key solutions including the complete handling system can be provided by request.

The institutes involved with the Alliance exchange knowledge and experience and cooperate within the scope of projects. A network of companies and universities complete these abilities.
