Spalled refractory material arising in the iron, steel, glass, lime. cement and non-ferrous metal industries is also processed and recycled at Mineralmahlwerk Westerwald. The materials are sorted, crushed, ground and dried.

In addition, basic raw materials ( e.g. sintered magnesite) or alumina based materials can be ground at the Weitefeld production site. Using a specially modified air separation system, particular grain sizes can be produced. Further processing is carried out using high-performance mixing machines. Mixing of materials according to mixing specification are part of our service.

The fact that our equipment is almost completely automated guarantees reliable and economic operation. Uniform grain distribution of each product mix as well as the reduction of the proportion of oversize and undersize particles to a minimum testify to the high quality of our milling plant.
