HFT further expands safety team, adding new senior manager

HFT has expanded its safety team with the hiring of safety veteran David Melendez. Melendez will serve as senior safety manager and brings more than two decades of worldwide safety experience across multiple market sectors.

As a core business value, safety is at the forefront HTF’s operational best practices and communications, with a fundamental imperative of zero incidents. Melendez’s extensive resume further enhances this core business value and adds to the company’s mindset of “safety first” on all projects.

“It’s imperative that overall safety at our job sites be managed by someone with the utmost professionalism and experience,” says Brad Hall, HFT’s chief operations officer. “We’re confident David has the background to effectively address any issue that may arise. From our perspective, it’s impossible to ever be ‘too safe.’”
