KiloAmps®’s activities in the field of high current transportation electrical are integrated in 2 main ranges of products:
ITEC.BAR™: LV and HV power bus ducts. Within this range KiloAmps® proposes complete solutions for the electric boosting systems of glass furnaces which include:
- the flexible connections to the transformer;
- the main bus ducts specially designed for glass furnace environment;
- the connections to the electrodes (by insulated braids, laminates or cables);
- the electrodes clamps;
- related optional accessories as disconnectors, current transformers, electrode hangers, supports for flexible connections and bus ducts.
The design is made after a visit at site, an electrical optimization and fully adapted to the glass furnaces environment.
ARC.ITEC™: power supply circuits by water cooled cables, tubes, electrode clamps and conductive arms. These products are mainly used for the electrical supply of industrial (mostly arc and induction) furnaces.
