The new SCHOTT Architecture + Design website is entitled “The Freedom to Design” http://www.schott.com/architecture/english/index.html and was developed together with well-known architects. It really stands out by presenting both products and reference projects in a clear and consistent manner.
This online representation is designed to appeal to a target audience that has an affinity for aesthetics, prefers to have references presented in a vivid manner and expects to be able to find technical information very quickly. In this case, large-format photographs of reference projects are being shown in the foreground of the website as a way of inspiring architects and designers and presenting the entire range of solutions expertise SCHOTT has in the area of architecture. SCHOTT Architecture + Design first adopted this approach when it redesigned its brochures to underscore its philosophy: SCHOTT works closely with architects and designers to extend the boundaries of design and create new opportunities for building culture – in terms of design and space, indoors and outdoors, for solar power and fire protection, aesthetics and functionality – sustainable and custom-tailored.
