MISURA®: the only lab equipment which allow the technicians to get a more complete characterization of the analysed materials.

The Optical Dilatometers MISURA® ODHT and ODLT carry out thermomechanical measurements with no contact, determining the thermal expansion or sintering behaviour of several materials, even up to their complete melting.

The Heating Microscopes MISURA® HSM and HSML study the softening behaviour of different materials (glasses, glazes, ashes...) during a heating process and determines automatically flattening curve and characteristic temperatures. Using dilatometric information, viscosity and surface tension can be calculated.

The Optical Fleximeter MISURA® FLEX is used to perform bending analysis of materials without application of loads. It is able to study the bending caused by differences in thermal expansion or in sintering behaviour between a body and a glaze, and also the pyroplastic deformation that occurs in a body.

From now on, also Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) for studying endothermic and exthermic reactions can be combined with some of the MISURA® equipment.
