All new bottles produced by Arglass will be made with its proprietary glass composition Arglass Biogenic with significantly enhanced sustainability attributes over traditional glass bottles.
Arglass Yamamura is a joint venture partnership between Japan-based Nihon Yamamura Glass Co., Ltd. and Cambium Arglass, a privately-held investment company.
The new container glassmaking site is said to be creating 150 jobs in the local area. Production capacity is 100,000 metric tonnes per year/265,000,000 units per year.
