Save the Date for Neil Simpson´s courses on Furnace Technology

, Neil Simpson

Following success of December and February on-line combustion courses I have been asked to run a further series of the half day training courses dedicated to the glass industry. Per previous, these courses will be limited to 12 attendees and be available on a first come basis.

In addition, based on recent requests I am adding a new course which will look at Industrial Decarbonisation. Most recently I am known for combustion work in the Glass Industry and whilst this will be an area where most personal examples will be shown the other example industries will include steel reheat, aluminium reverb, cement, refractory, incineration and process heating including drying. In the early 90’s the first “Simpson Burner” was for an LCV bio-wood gas. Then followed by an oxygen atomized waste oil lance for a soil remediation project. One LCV gas was so low that we developed a specific dual fuel solution to achieve the process temperature. This new course will be limited to 3 hours but will include a separate 30minute 1:1 session for specific questions.
