SGD Pharma to present its high-end glass packaging innovations tailored to the cosmetics and beauty industry at Luxe Pack Monaco 2023

, SGD Pharma

Global glass packaging provider, SGD Pharma, will showcase the latest innovations in its exclusive Constellations range of premium glass products and bespoke decoration capabilities at Luxe Pack Monaco, the leading trade show dedicated to luxury cosmetic and beauty packaging taking place between 2nd-4th October 2023.

The company will also present its new range of pharmaceutical-grade fragrance mini samplers alongside its eco-designed full packaging solution Eclipse refillable glass jar. With consumers becoming increasingly concerned with environmental impact, SGD Pharma’s glass offerings achieve both the high level of aesthetic and performance required for quality cosmetic packaging while delivering on the promise of sustainability.

SGD Pharma’s longstanding history with leading fragrance and cosmetics companies has led to the collaborative development of a range of standard size mini-sampler vials available plain or with crisp, customized ceramic ink labels. A sampler for perfume is essential to the cosmetic sales toolkit, facilitating consumer purchase. SGD Pharma offers standard vials in 1.5, 2.0 and 2.6-ml which are readily available and can be custom silkscreened in 19 monochrome PMS colors, including grey and black. The mini sampler sizes can be supplied to customers in North America, Europe and Asia.

Eclipse, SGD Pharma’s bespoke refillable glass jar solution for beauty products will also be platformed at the luxury expo. The Eclipse refillable glass jar is a versatile and sustainable option for a wide range of beauty and wellness products, offering an effortless replacement and recycling experience. This eco-designed full packaging solution features a twist and lock system which allows the inner plastic capsule to be easily loosened and secured to the glass jar without any adhesive or tools. Its refillable nature allows consumers to reuse the jar with a new product-filled capsule, significantly reducing single use packaging and their environmental footprint. The Eclipse refillable glass jar is fully customizable, offering brands a wide range of decoration possibilities like lacquering, frosting, metallization, silk printing and many more.

Frédéric Barbier, General Manager China and APAC commented “Our Zhanjiang facility in China produces premium cosmetics and beauty packaging solutions. SGD Pharma also operates an in-house decoration workshop providing versatile decoration including lacquering, frosting, silk screening, pad printing and hot stamping. This offers customers unlimited opportunities for customization of their beauty packaging. We are committed to keeping our facilities state-of-the-art, with the next upgrade of our glass furnace planned in 2024 to increase capacity by an additional 15% and build greater flexibility for the benefit of our clients.”

Glass is the packaging material of choice in the beauty industry for high-quality products. No other material matches its exceptional premium aspect. It also offers protection from oxidation and light. Paris-based SGD Pharma’s Constellations® range of glass packaging solutions are available worldwide in multiple shapes, suitable for a variety of beauty products, including skincare and nutraceuticals. The company specializes in custom designs and shapes, which are essential for brands wanting to make their products instantly recognizable.
