Laminated glass is known for its high level of safety and is composed of two or more glass panes bonded together by a strong polyvinyl butyral (PVB) interlayer. This type of glass is highly resistant and combines thermal and acoustic comfort with security requirements. In case of breakage, the glass shards remain adhered to the interlayer, preventing them from scattering.
Additionally, when manufactured with solar control coatings, laminated glass effectively blocks ultraviolet (UV) rays, protecting people and preventing the fading and aging of furniture, carpets, curtains, and other nearby objects.
