Pochet creates the bottle for the genie. Founded in 1623, the company makes and distributes luxury glass perfume bottles and containers for cosmetics and perfume manufacturers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Christian Dior, and Kenzo. (It has made as many as 10 million bottles in a year for popular perfume CK One.) Bottles account for more than half of sales.
More than 70% of Pochet´s sales occur in France and the US. Pochet also makes plastic packaging items for the perfume and cosmetics industries and owns 87% of Lalique Group, a retailer of crystal, porcelain, jewelry, perfume, and fine leather goods. Lalique operates about 70 stores worldwide. The Colonna family owns about 98% of Pochet
