The AGI 9800 system was developed to meet the increased demand for defect-free glass products in the automotive glass manufacturing industry. The AGI 9800 Autoglass system incorporates state-of-the art technology and deliver fully-automated, on-line inspection of laminated and tempered autoglass. Turnkey system models are available for use in all stages of the manufacturing process, including unprocessed, in-process and finished.

The AGI 9800’s modular system architecture can be configured to accommodate a variety of different shapes and sizes of glass. In addition, up to six laser optics/imaging modules can be used in combination to detect all types of glass defects, or independently to detect specific defects such as edge and surface defects.
